The Latest Giveaway I Won't Win

I've realized over my last few years of blogging that the "giveaway" is kind of a thing.  Blogs do this stuff all the time.  I reached my 100th post.  GIVEAWAY!  I reached my 100th follower.  GIVEAWAY!  I just love all my readers, you're so darn cute.  GIVEAWAY!  Having a fairly young blog myself, I do not know how it feels to hit either of the first 2 marks (although on the 3rd count I would consider something to giveaway if I, in fact, had anything to give away).  How do these people get in on the good giveaways when it's not their own stuff?  I don't know, but I'd like to figure it out someday so I can make my own little band of readers smile someday with a little treat in their mailbox.  But I digress.  I am not someone who enters every giveaway I see . . . it would become a full time job if I did.  This one, however, this one I could NOT pass up.

I discovered the blog, Progressive Pioneer, somewhat recently.  Liking what I saw, I bookmarked and added it to the ever-growing-becoming-excessively-out-of-control list of blogs I peruse on a regular basis.  Seriously, I want to pare it down desperately but *there is so much good stuff out there it's hard to stop reading sometimes.*  Anyway, the aforementioned blog is having a lovely giveaway that I would relish winning.  A $50 gift certificate to Magpie Patterns.  This is something that I would really love.  Yeah, $50.  Seriously, if I ever get some hookups through my lil blog site I'll totally pass the coolness along to you.

Anyone?  Want to give me stuff to give away?  I'll do it.  If it's good, I'll totally do it.  ;)

Want to further decrease my chances of winning?  You can enter the giveaway yourself here.

P.S.  Want to know what I'd get if I actually *did* win this giveaway (not that I will, mind you)?  This, among other things:

Aww I really hope you win that one... I'm not sure how others do it but sometimes if you like a product you can approach a company and ask them if they would be interested in doing a giveaway. Otherwise, sometimes companies will e-mail you to inquire if you're interested in a giveaway :)
