Hearts for Haiti + Lovely Sweet William = True Love

I've been plugging a few Etsy shops up on top of my blog for a few weeks now.  Regularly I peruse the offerings looking at all the awesome handmade fare and wishing I had my own shop so I could make a donation.

I saw this print at the end of January and didn't think twice before hitting the "Add to Cart" button.  The drawing is so intricate and delicate.  I just LOVE it.  And rather than the cheeseball Valentine decor that I see being pushed onto the population at large via all your big box stores, this is a little taste of love I'll be glad to keep up year round.

The artist, Paula Mills, hails from Australia.  She and her sisters, Shelly and Jeanine formed Lovely Sweet William together to sell their artwork and handmade softies.  I am in love with their shop!

My print arrived quite quickly considering it travelled to me all the way from Australia.  And what's more, it's even lovelier in person.  I need to get a frame for this one ASAP.  For right now it's just leaning on a shelf over my desk . . .

Looking to make a difference with your handmade purchase?  Take a gander at the offerings over at Hearts for Haiti and Craft Hope for Haiti.  The stuff is always changing and all the proceeds go to Doctors without Borders.

What a beautiful piece of art, and helping a good cause at the same time - priceless.
