Another Little Owl Teether for a New Baby Girl
What a crazy weekend. My mom and sister were hosting a baby shower for my cousin on Saturday. They live about 3 hours away from me, and it's February in Michigan. For those of you not acquainted with Lake Effect Snow, let me just say we were not able to leave as scheduled on Friday evening. Blowing snow + icy road conditions + my family + our old minivan = we're staying home. Things cleared up enough on Saturday morning that we decided it was ok to make the drive, but we made it there a bit late.

P.S. I am SO ready for this crazy long winter to be over. Why is it that February, though the shortest month of the year, feels the absolute longest? My need for spring is so overwhelming I compiled a bunch of spring-y images into a lil gallery on Flickr. Every time I look out into the gray sludge out my window, I'm going to try to redirect my thoughts this way:
(Thanks for explaining how to make Flickr mosaics to me, Erika!)
