Patches for Lissa
Have a bit of spare time and a bit of spare fabric to donate to a mom in need of some comfort?
This was brought to my attention by one of my Vintage Sheet Freedom Bee buddies, Mel. Her sister-in-law, Lissa, has been through some terribly rough times and some bloggers and friends are pulling together to make her a quilt.
All the details on Lissa and links to her very sad but hope-filled story can be found at Jane's Fabrics & Quilts.
(Very basic) quilt blocks are due September 4th so there is still plenty of time to make up a few to send in to help.
I don't know Lissa personally, but my heart goes out to her. I couldn't imagine the pain it would be to not be able to see my own kids for months at a time due to hospitalization. If you are able, please check out the links above to see if you could help.
