Shoofly Block #10 - For Ginger
When I made Kylie's block, Mr. Skooks marveled a bit over how fast I was able to complete it. I'm not bragging, but by block #9 of the same kind, you kind of have a system going. By block #10 I wanted to test it out.
I had a pizza craving (and nothing terribly appealing in the house for dinner - - I know, FOR SHAME) so after a short deliberation over toppings, I called the order in. They told me, "Ok. Give us 20-25 minutes."
No problem.
I told Mr. Skooks the time frame and then said, "I'm going to go bang out another block." (Yes, that's exactly how I said it. Is this not the way of the lady with 2 small kids and not much time to grab for sewing?)
"Time me."
Mr. Skooks looked at me for a brief moment and then said, "You better run. I'm going to set the timer."
So it was officially on.
By the time the bell rang I was running up the last seam on the block. By the time Mr. Skooks called up, "20 minutes is up!" I was done pressing it out.
Ladies and gentleman, I give you . . . the 20 minute block:

Woooo-hoooooo, a stitch in time, and all that good stuff
You are too cute Skooks :)) In 20 minutes I'll probably manage to plug in my sewing machine and dig out the threads that I want to use :))
