Happily, my most recent handmade *Happy Birthday* effort was well received. Remember the superhero cape I made for my niece (complete with blow-up princess sword)? It made for a perfect crazy Halloween costume:

Amazing what can make them happy at a young age. Cute costume and love the way she is standing in the cape shot...she must be feeling pretty cool at the moment;-)
Aunts are the best. I have 3 nieces, 2 great nephews and a new great niece.
I made a cape for my son when he was 5 for Halloween. He wore it for weeks, running up and down the hallway or outside.
